Tampa Visitors

We are so excited to have some of our best friends from home, Isabella and Morgan, visiting us in Tampa! They took a six hour bus ride at five in the morning from St. Augustine and arrived around noon. As soon as they were settled, we hit the ground running. We started off by showing them around Downtown Tampa and grabbing breakfast. After a delicious meal, we headed over to Bayshore Boulevard to enjoy the beautiful weather with a nice walk and dolphin hunting. Once we began to began to feel overheated and tired we walked back to campus. We gave them a tour of our campus and insights to our life in Tampa. Once we finished sight seeing we relaxed in Plant Park until we worked up an appetite. We headed over to the Old Hyde Park Village to go our all time favorite restaurant; Bar taco. A few tacos, chips, and guac later we walked home with full bellies and happy vides. After dinner we showed them the Riverwalk, that lights up a variety colors at night. It was great first day having them here!

  1. Sounds like you had a great time! It’s so nice when friends come to hang out. I love the photos of Tampa. Florida is always so sunny and bright. But too hot for me! 😉 I’ve visited a few times, but don’t think I’d want to live there. But please…

Continue sharing your adventures! I, for one, enjoy reading about them.
    🙂
