Magic Gardens

What better way to start the new year than with a grand adventure with your love and good friends?! Well, that’s exactly what we did! We drunkenly decided at a New Year’s Eve party, with our friends Eden and Lucas, to head into Philadelphia. We have to admit when our alarm blared at 8:30 this morning, our hungover bodies wanted nothing more than spend the rest of the day in bed. However, the best way to cure your New Year’s Eve hangover is a day full of fresh air and exploration! We were on the road by roughly 10:30am and got to Philadelphia around noon. Once we navigated through the hectic traffic of the narrow roads and found a lucky curb side parking spot, we were ready to adventure. We headed to the Magic Garden, a funky mosaic garden. The essence of the garden was nothing short of what it’s title calls it- magical. Every inch was covered and decorated with intricate and artistic detail. Even areas out of the generic public eye was decorated, even down to the bathrooms! We must have spent close to two hours in there, exploring each alley way and staircase multiple times, picking up on new details each time. Inside, was a art gallery displaying smaller mosaic canvas pieces. If you ever find yourself frolicking in Philadelphia we definitely recommend checking out the magic gardens, if you’re looking for artistic vibes in your day! P.s. Happy New Year everyone!! Hoping you all find yourselves with good people, on good adventures, making GREAT memories xo
