Today we had the most magical and stunning adventure yet. We woke up at 8 am and drove north for two hours to go to one of florida State parks called Rainbow Springs. As soon as we arrived, our breath was taken away by the beauty of the water. A colorful array of blues and teals comprised the spring. We began the day by renting a canoe and canoeing for 2 hours, exploring the entire spring and enjoying the view. The water was crystal clear, accompanying us were vibrant fish and sea turtles each way you looked. We baked in the sun and felt at complete peace. Surrounding us was palm trees and luscious plants, it felt like we were in a rain forest. Once we returned the boat, we were dying to swim among the fish and cool off. The water was tranquil, astonishingly clean and natural. We swam with our eyes open, exploring every inch of the spring and gliding along the sea bottom. Swimming was very exhausting because we spent more time underwater than above it, so we decided to explore the area around the park. We found a trail and started hiking through it. Along the way, we discovered many waterfalls. They were blocked off by a wooden fence, but unable to resist ourselves we hopped the fence and danced under the falls. It was such an awesome experience and made us appreciate how beautiful our new home is. We couldn’t be happier!
